Why does my cat follow me?
Obviously, no one knows for sure why your cat follows you, but the most probably explanation is that your cat is following you around out of affection. Cats are often very attached to their owners so it may be an indication of how much your cat loves you.

It could also be that your cat is seeking attention, food, or simply enjoys your company. Some cats may follow their owners as a form of play or to protect them. It’s also possible that your cat simply finds your movements and actions interesting and wants to be a part of what you’re doing. Ultimately, the precise reason why your cat follows you may be unique to your cat and your special relationship with them.

Why does my cat follow me to the bathroom?
Although it can be disconcerting to be gazed at by a cat when you are – well, you know! – it’s not uncommon for cats to follow their owners to the bathroom. There are a few possible reasons for this behavior. One reason could be that your cat simply enjoys your company and wants to be with you as much as possible, including when you go to the bathroom.
On the other hand, your cat may follow you to the bathroom in search of attention or because they associate the bathroom with a source of food or water. It’s also possible that your cat follows you to the bathroom because they are curious about what you’re doing in there.

Why is my cat so clingy?
There could be a variety of reasons why your cat is being clingy. Cats can be very attached to their owners and may seek out attention and affection as a way of bonding with them.
If your cat is feeling anxious or stressed, they may also become more clingy as a way of seeking comfort and reassurance. Cats can also become clingy if they feel that their territory is being threatened or if they are not getting enough mental or physical stimulation. But your cat may simply be displaying normal feline behavior and is seeking attention and affection from you in a way that is typical for their species.

Should I seek help?
Not normally, but if you’re concerned about your cat’s clinginess, it may be helpful to have a chat to your veterinarian and ask for their advice.
